The M200 Plus is built around a fully enclosed, heated chamber that keeps engineering filaments like ABS, nylon and polycarbonate dimensionally stable throughout long prints, a category where open-frame machines routinely lose corners to warping. Its perforated build plate provides mechanical grip rather than relying purely on adhesive or surface texture, giving strong first-layer adhesion even with materials prone to lifting. Zortrax's Layer Plan software lets you preview and adjust individual layers before committing filament, catching support and orientation issues on screen rather than discovering them mid-print. Backed by one of the more extensive validated material libraries in the industry, the M200 Plus is aimed at users who need predictable results with technical materials rather than experimenting with unvalidated settings. A firmware-enabled Speed Mode profile trades a little surface finish for noticeably faster prints when a job doesn't need showroom quality, without requiring any hardware changes. The heated, enclosed chamber and hotend together draw up to 320 W at peak, and the machine runs on standard 1.75 mm filament across its validated material library.
