Description
The X1-Carbon is Bambu Lab's flagship: a fully enclosed CoreXY with a micro-lidar sensor for first-layer inspection, an AI camera that spots spaghetti and stringing mid-print, and a hardened extrusion system that eats carbon- and glass-filled filaments for breakfast. Strain-gauge auto levelling, input-shaping vibration compensation and a 256 mm heat-retaining chamber round out a machine built for engineering materials and unattended production runs. The micro-lidar behind its first-layer inspection resolves detail down to 7 microns, precise enough to catch adhesion problems before they become a failed print, and the CoreXY toolhead can hit 20,000 mm/s² of acceleration without shaking loose the accuracy the lidar is there to protect. Running at up to 1000 W on a 220V circuit, it heats its enclosed chamber fast enough that engineering filaments are ready to print rather than waiting on a slow warm-up.
