Description
The MK4S is Prusa's refined flagship bed-slinger, engineered and manufactured in Prague. The upgraded Nextruder combines a load cell for tap-free first-layer calibration with a built-in filament sensor that detects clogs, tangles and runouts mid-print. A colour LCD touchscreen, input-shaping accelerometer and rock-solid reliability make it a long-term investment for serious makers running everything from PLA to nylon and polycarbonate. Real-world power draw runs around 80 W on PLA and up to 120 W on ABS from its 240 W supply, and the toolhead can accelerate at up to 20,000 mm/s² without losing the accuracy the load-cell calibration is there to guarantee. It takes standard 1.75 mm filament, so nothing exotic is needed to put its high-flow nozzle to work.
